Cognitive Skills:
After successfully completing the course,students will be able to:
1. define and understand principles of respecting user's perspective and historical context and the importance of the user's perspective in social work
2. define and recognise ethics of inclusing the user in the decision-making process in social work and the level of respecting the user's perspective in examples from practice
3. gain insight into the examples of development of the user's perspective in social work in other countries and be able to recognise and analyse good examples from practice
4. gain insight and be able to recognise and analyse key obstacled to the inclusion of users in decision-making processes and creation of services in social work
5. get direct experience of interview with the user conected to their expectations from the role of social worker and be able to analyse these experiences in group discussion
6. recognise, analyse and evaluate their own experience and contribution in the process of the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed for respecting the user's perspective in social work
Practical and Generic Skills:
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
1. respect and act in accordance with basic values and ethics of including the users in decision-making processes and creation of services in social work
2. overview and define different types of difficulties during the inclusion of users in decision-making processes and creation of services in social work in view of individual theoretical concepts
3. apply adequate communication skills in interview with the user
