Social economy and especially social entrepreneurship are new concepts in Croatian context. The goals of the course are to introduce students to the concept and emergence of the fields of social entrepreneurship and social economy, understanding the different perspectives of social entrepreneurship and social economy and the role of legal and institutional framework for their development. The goal is also to inform students about diffrent area of work of social entrepreneurship and social economy and analyze the possibilities and barriers to the development of social entrepreneurship and social economy in Croatian conditions. An additional goal is to train students for the potential development of social entrepreneurship projects and the creation of social economy initiatives by learning from examples of good practice and acquiring skills and knowledge necessary for creating social economy and / or entrepreneurship initiatives.
