The course objectives are:
- Understand modern concepts, such as: civil society, non-profit sector, third sector, social economy, social innovation, co-production in social services, good governance;
- Understand the importance of cultural and historical development and the political, economic and social role of civil society in modern societies;
- Adopt current knowledge on the characteristics of the socio-cultural and historical framework of development and the role of civil society in Croatia
- Based on the research results, understand the role of civil society in the processes of decentralization, democratization, Europeanization, self-organization and in the production of programs and services in the fields of social welfare, health, education, culture...
