Description
Field practice in Social Work with Persons with Disabilities is performed for 30 hours: in the institution or association the student spends 25 hours, at the Faculty in group discussion 2 hours, while in the preparation of field practice reports (consists of essays, diaries, critical reviews and social anamnesis of users) 3 hours. Field practice in Social Work with Persons with Disabilities aims to acquaint students with different types of disabilities, the structure and operation of social welfare and civil society for persons with disabilities, ways to empower and rehabilitate them and the role of social workers in these processes. Field practice is organized in about 20 institutions and associations that work with people with disabilities. In order to better cover the issues of this area and the breadth of knowledge that will be offered to students, institutions of education, social welfare, rehabilitation and associations and associations of persons with disabilities are included. The student will spend two hours each week in field practice. At predetermined times, students will meet with a teacher at the Faculty, where they will be divided into several groups to share experiences from field practice and learn about social work as an applied scientific discipline focused on understanding social processes and developing skills needed to effectively implement social interventions with people with disabilities.

Student responsibilities: write a field practice report consisting of an essay, a practice diary, a critical review (profit and difficulty analysis) and a user's social anamnesis.
