After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- define basic concepts about old age and ageing;
- define and explain theoretical approached to ageing;
- recognise and explain emotional, cognitive, social and physiological changes in older age;
- critically evaluate and recognise models in care for the elderly;
- recognise changes in the process of ageing of healthy and ill persons;
- explain social, psychological, health and economic aspects of old age and approach to active agieng;
- recognise and describe research methods which are the basis for geronotlogical scientific research

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
