Advanced technologies and personal rights. Information and communication privacy. Security risks and abuses.

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

- define the concept of information society and explain its development

- explain the origin, development and role of information technology (IT) in modern society

- explain the most important aspects of computer system security

- explain regulatory framework for sanctioning computer crime

- explain regulatory framework of protection of the right to privacy snf the right to protection of personal data in digital environment

- classify and explain the most impoirtant issues of protection of intellectual property in digital environment

- explain the most important issues of legal regulation of electronic trade, digital signatures and certificates

- discuss complex issues from the area of legal regulation of electronic trade, digital signatures and certificates

- single out and explain the most important issues from the area of regulating the Internet and Internet regulations

- discuss information and communication security

- discuss about security risks in computer systems and manners of their protection

 

 

 

Practical and Generic Skills:

After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:

- publicly present learning outcomes

- express themselves in a clear, well structured text explaining their standpoints,

- develop communication skills.

Matching Assessments to Learning Outcomes:

Learning outcmes on the level of knowledge and understanding are tested through a written examination. Learning outcomes on the level of application and analysis are tseted through an oral examination.
