The main objective of this course is to introduce students to the economic aspect of selected EU institutions, the scope of their activities, institutional organization as well as the rules and regulation relevant to their existence and activities. Teaching units: History of European integration, Institutions of EU, History of EU monetary integration, ECB, EU competition policy, Monopoly, Oligopoly, Monopolistic competition, Environmental policy of EU, EU regional policy, Common agricultural policy, Social Policy, EU budget, EU Energy policy. |
