Marko Šikić was born in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, and worked as a legal trainee. After completing his judicial state examination he joined the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb at the Chair of Administrative Law. At the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb he also completed Postgraduated Studies of Administrative and Political Sciences. He defended his master's thesis „Administrative Silence in Croatian Law“ in 2006. and his doctoral dissertation “Legal Protection Against Non-solving Administrative Matter in Croatian and Comparative Law” in 2008. Since 2009. he is head of the Chair of Administrative Law.
